was taking apart my door trims and found this plug:

i think it is for the electric fuel/boot release the Verada's have but am not sure:hmm:

help?

Does it have power when the door is open? Could be for red warning light.

if you mean those red light thingys in the doors, already has them this is a diffrent plug

Te and F Altera's had the plug in the loom for the puddle lights but only for the drivers side. Passenger side didn't, for some reason.

They are for puddle lights, the front door looms in my car are from an Altera I had to add the wiring for the fuel door and boot.

My TE advance had that plug on the drivers side too.

Definitely for the under map pocket light.

on this note, how hard is it to wire up the electric fuel/boot release(just the boot anyways)

Easy as long as you have ALL the parts.

These are:

Boot switch with the plug that goes into it;
boot motor as it has the extra fuel door cable;
the boot motor relay - not in any car that doesnt have one of these switches
The wiring for the boot motor relay.

The plug for the door switch is common around the car, and can be found in a couple of places, the relay however, isnt.

Then, you need to wire the extra 2 pins from the relay to the boot to the boot switch and then the door.

If you have a TF then the wiring for the relay is a tiny bit different to a TH onwards and you have to connect a wire to power instead of ground but other that that I have installed 4 of these before.
