I have recently purchase an 02 Verada off of my father-in-law. Just a short background story, you all might think small things amuse small minds but this is the first car that I have owned(to drive my wife has always had a Calais, or SS) in 13 years that has, wait for it........... CARPET :happy: HAHA I am a tradesman so the last 4 cars have been a van and 3 tradesman utes with vinyl flooring. I am a Holden man from way back don't hold it against me, but I am loving the Verada, why didn't I know about these years ago.

So here are my questions:

There is no remote keyless entry but can you purchase these from Mitsubishi or is it cheaper off of ebay and do they work for the KJ Verada?

The rear door will open when all doors are unlocked with key but will not lock the same way? Is this easy to fix or what could it be. Haven't removed door panel yet just want to know if it is worth having a go myself, it doesn't bother me too much.

Last question (for now anyway) is what does E35 D04 next to the options under the bonnet mean?

As for the remote, the mitsubishi black pear-drop shape remotes on ebay with the green, red, and grey buttons are OK to use. These can be programmed easily to work with your car.

As for the rear door, are you referring to the bootlid?

It is the rear passenger door that won't lock via key but will unlock.

This is a photo of the remote, ebay or gumtree seems to be the cheapest place to buy em.
To program you need to hold down the green button and turn the key in the ignition three times to get the dash lights on/off on/off on/off but without starting it. You should hear a buzz the hazards will flash .... bingo you have programmed the remote.

E35 is the engine.
D04 is the trans.
