Hey guys..

As you may have seen I have sold my KW-AVX836NAV and now I'm looking for a change.

I have been reading up on the 4450BT and am liking the sound of it.

I have been offered a great price on the unit and was wanting to hear peoples thoughts.

I have both the earlier model and the pre Bluetooth of the same. Both are good for sound quality and reliability. Although I'm sure you would be happy with this unit, the reason it is cheap is because the new models are out which look heaps better.

I personally would wait a couple if months and save some more money for the new one. the app ability and other functions will make it slower to become outdated, and even if you don't use the extra features now you may in the future

I was looking at he P4450BT myself, but decided to bite the bullet and upgrade to the P8450BT.

Apparently they're the same (I think the 8450 has a higher resolution screen), but the 8450 has a much nicer UI design.

If you're not too fussed, I love the shit out of my 8450. Though, technically mine is the American "P8400BH" (which is the P8450BT here). I got it for $600 posted. Why not get it online?

Also, because Pioneer is in bed with Apple, if you're got an iPhone, you get a TONNE of extra features. If you're got an Android, you're shit outta luck...

I've had a play with the 8450, and the two look the same on paper audio-wise, but with SD card ( basically giving it on board memory ) and 2 rear USB's, its got it all in terms of connectivity...(4450 has one rear USB)
I've got a 32 GB card fitted in my single din, its awesome, one USB to power a Hard drive and one more for Ipods, USB's or Phone Charging...You use em up pretty quick....
