Do you know what year the laser is..?
The older ones are 4 stud.. So if you can supply us with a year, we may be able to find out for you.

5 stud Ford wheels fit, may need locater caps over hub so wheels fit snug.

5 stud Falcon rims (AU and on) certainly fit, but are you definite that 5 stud Laser rims would fit?
OP your safest bet is just to confirm the specific stud pattern (Magnas use 5x 114.3) and the offset.

they're from a 2001 ford laser
thanks a lot for your help guys
They are also 5x114.3 so they fit but not sure of the offset.

oh yepp, i put them on and they fit great, ill probably need 215 tires on them because there's a lot of empty space under my guards (have 205 tires on atm) but other than that, the fit nice. thanks guys

How wide are the rims? It should be stamped on the back of them.

im not sure, i'll have to go take a look tomorrow. but they're not too wide, they're the ones in my profile picture
You'll also need to know the offset - if it varies too much from factory, it will be illegal. If it varies a LOT from factory, it could be unsafe or at least detrimental to the condition & lifespan of other suspension components.
Both width & offset should be stamped on the back. As these are aftermarket, you can't use the details of a 2001 Laser, but have to look at what's stamped on the rim.
You should find something on the back like "17x8JJ" this gives the wheel diameter and width.
You should also find something like "+38" this is the offset.
