It comes on 500km before service km, and turns off 1000km after service km, if it does get serviced in that period the workshop guys reset it.

Definitely service time. Check the log book to see what's been happening in the past.

or is it just that they don't know how to get rid of it?May just be that, could well have been serviced by someone who either didn't notice it or doesn't know how to turn it off. I forget how it's turned off, it's a simple thing like holding a button for a few seconds, so if you do your own servicing you can clear it.

the wrench comes and goes every 10,000 or so on mine. it appears and disappears as it pleases.

looking at the dash im pretty sure u hold the 'mode' and 'up' buttons at the same time with ignition off then turn the ignition on while holding them...i think lol

pretty sure that would work. if it doesnt, lemme know n il try look it up in one of our manuals
