Before anyone says anything, I know good security systems have to be installed by pros, but on my 16yo car this is merely a slow-them-down/stuffaround security system.

I had been hoping for someone to buy that gps tracker MR SPL was selling and say how they installed it, but since that fell thru, I am asking here.

My question is, what wire do I need to run thru the immobilizing relay?
My specific requirements:
- Kill the engine while running
- Not kill the fuel pump, as my car is dual fuel

Basically, if it were you, would you cut the main ign wire, just the 'on-key position' wire, or something else entirely?

Thanks
(This is a 2nd gen)

the main ignition wire should work, if there are 2, one can be for your accessories that come on with the "ON" position (like demister and blower fan/heater and blinkers), and the other for engine related ignition supplies (distributor, ECU etc). That is the one you have to cut. If there is only one ignition "ON" supply at the switch, its a safe bet that cutting that will kill the motor, as thats what the switch simply does.
