Hey kids!
Just wondering if someone can tell me where I might find the speedo wire in my 380? I'm installing an AVN6000 and it's all I have left to do. Any help would be appreciated. Obviously it would be under the cluster somewhere, but a color and best location to splice would be awesome!

Why do you need to splice the speedo cable? If you want to identify it (provided you're freshly installing a wiring loom), add 12v to each individual cable and watch the speedo for it to go up.

The AVN6000 has a speed pulse for the GPS, supposed to make it more accurate or something. it works fine without it, but I want to hook it up for completions sake.

Personally I would not be mucking around in a 380 with this as you could do a lot of damage and with CANBUS systems, one system having a fault can bring other systems down even if they are not on the bus.
The only place you will pick up a speedo pulse in an auto will be at the speedo, to get that wire you will need to yourself download the 380 manual as I simply do not have the time or patience to look here on my copy

In the Magna's, right up to the TW, there was a VSS wire in the diagnostic plug under the left hand side of the dash. Do the 380's not have this?
