Just wondering, is the seat foam the same through out all the 3rd gens?
Wanting to have a go at reupholstering mine but don't want to use my good seats if i can avoid it.

I believe the actual foam is the same but the Sports/VRX seats have more foam in them compared to lower spec models. Much of the foam is on the sides to hold you in the seat better. Overall the are much more comfortable :thumbsup: - I can atest to that as I had both

Hmm, this confirms my suspicions, going from driving the VRX, to a TE Exec i did notice a different feel in the seat, although i couldn't see any physical difference. I wonder if the Verada's are the same?

And I agree, the VRX seats are far more comfortable than the exec ones. I can happily and comfortably sit in VRX seats for hours on end with no signs of discomfort. Can't say the same for my standard exec seats or some of the other cars I've driven on long trips.

My understanding we're talking about pre-TL 3rd gens. I figure so because valitank has a TJ exec and he stripped a TJ VRX and has been fitting the parts to his ride.

To my knowledge, the Verada's have the same sort of bolstering as exec seats. I've sat in rada's and they all seem as soft and flat as the non-sport version seats. I also can't stand sliding around on the leather.

I have purchased some TL-VRX Seat trims - Not the actual seat but the material

I know I'll need TL-TW Seats, but do they have to come from a VR-X or can I just grab some ES/LS Seats?

You will need the sports variant, be it the VR, VRX, GTVi and I am pretty sure all Verada's had the sports type seats. Even my old KS Xi had the sports type with extra bolstering on the sides of the seat and seat back.
