I need some help installing a set of two piece paras - specifically, the indicator.
What's the proper way to install the indicator bracket?
And more importantly, where does the spring on the indicator attach to on the vehicle? Is this spring the only thing holding the indicator in?
I had one piece paras previously so I have nothing to go against.
Thanks in advance!
If I remember correctly the light its self goes in first with the bracket mounted to the side. This gets screwed in same way as the one piece would, and i am pretty certain that the bracket gets mounted to where the one piece ones do from the bottom. Think its a bolt that has a nut already attached to car body. From here the indicator slids in, remembering to put light globe in it and the spring will be able to pulled and will clip over the
Just going from memory from when i had mine

Think you forgot a word there mate. Thanks for the photos, much appreciated! But if you could find out where the spring attaches to on the vehicle, I'd be most appreciative :D
Yep i did. Sorry mate. Using my phone and trying to snap pics and upload is tough.
Okay see on that first pic where the thread of the bolt is exposed, well then there is that kinda concave shape metal piece that is part of the car. The piece is body coloured and Its just to the right of the bolt. Well thats where you pull the spring through and clamp basicaly just let the spring go so the indented piece will sit on that edge.

The knobby part of the spring slots into the penisy part of the headlight. Small incision on the penis that the spring slots into.

But I've been itching to ban someoneone :( In all seriousness though, that red circle in the pic, is that where you say the circle part of the spring attaches to? I can see where the spring attaches to the indicator (in the workshop manual picture), but I'm still confused as to where it mounts on the body (or if it mounts on the body or headlight).
rush, I had a feel around there last night and couldn't see anything for the circular bit of the spring to attach to :s
Can anyone else tell me where they've placed their spring?

Spring is attached to the indicator and then when the indicator is installed you pull the spring over the tab (referred to as a Penis). You will see the spring has the loop and then a bend, this bend sits on the tab thus stopping the indicator from falling out, exact same with parra and non parra
