Just wondering if there was a Redline Shockproof gear oil that would suit the ralliart gearbox?
Seen it alot lately and people swear by it making their gearbox smoother, i know guys that drift that liturally drain it, strain it of the metalics and re-use it multiple times as it doesn't degrade.

Has anyone had experience with it?

Any info would help...

Mods: can you please correct my spelling in title to "redline*. Thanks..

Yes haha
But does it suit the ralliart box /lsd box? Needs to have no friction modifiers as i understand. Most people use it in rwd cars so i have no idea on the differences in these things.

if it is rated for use with "trasaxle's" then it will be fine. you need different oil for gearboxes containing diffs because of the kind of oil the diff needs. for example: my car recommends fully synth gearbox oil, so i filled it up with castrol syn trans. after 5000 ks the gears wouldnt change properly and i was constantly grinding 4th and 5th. so i changed to castrol sytrax and it is by far the best gearbox oil i have ever used. fyi it is the stock oil that comes in the mitsubishi gto.

so in short, if it says suitable for hypoid/transaxle applications, then i dont see why it wouldnt work.
