Currently car will not engage any gears - all gear indicators light up except for "D"
Prior to this last time I drove it, auto would change up or down randomly then battery died after cold set in, after recharge no gears will engage.

I am trying to get the error codes off my 91 TR ECU using an analogue voltmeter but all I get is a continuous series of long pulse? I have tried resetting ECU to clear codes and I still get the same result checking the ecu or tcu codes.

As I haven't seen any info on what this means I was hoping someone here might know?

the only things it could be if the presure solinoids or the ecu, have u check the fluids?

Fluid is good not burnt and is correct level.
I can find the error codes but none of them describe an error where it will be a continuous series of long pulses. long pulse after long pulse no pauses?
I guess I will just pull out the TCU and see if there is any physical damage...

Ok thanks ill try and see what i can find on that and the manual would be great.

TCU has been removed and physically looks ok - no burns or acid leak on PCB and capacitors look good...
