Suddenly I have a lot of little anoying problems. like
central locking not working
remote control
cabin light
motor runs rough
dash message shows blinking 5
etc.

It sounds as if your flux capacitor is broken. For a series answer post up in the third generation part of the forum.

Your central locking and cabin light will be a fuse blown. I am fairly certain it is under the bonnet encased in the yellow plastic thing in the fusebox. The 5 flashing is actually an s so if your car is a sedan then press the set button on the trip computer buttons. Hope this helps.

something has caused your car to lose power.

The rough engine is because it needs to relearn how to idle, which it will do in time,
The trip computer has been reset so it needs info about the engine and sedan or wagon (S = Sedan W = Wagon)

Then after that the central locking remotes need reprogramming.

I'd say you have had some sort of voltage spike and blown a few fuses. Check them all.
