Hey guys.

First off, when you switch off the car and flash the high beams, it activates the "follow me home" lighting where the headlights stay on for 10 seconds.

Is there something I can change somewhere to extend this to 30 seconds by default or even 1 minute?

I think if you hold the high beams on for longer it keeps them on for longer when you release it.

I remember reading something about that in the manual. Do you have the manual / handbook with the car?

I've heard and read that the time on can be extended but I can not get it to work. They seem to go off after 10 seconds.

Will it do it every time after you activate it?
Cos I would like to have that on my car for convenience in the shed :)

No. You get one per key in ignition cycle (I think you have to turn it to ACC then OFF to get it to do it again), you always have to flick to turn it on. That's my understanding and experience anyway, I sometimes use this feature and played with it a bit. Didn't know you could extend the time but I'm very sure you can't make it automatic every time the car turns off without you flicking it.
