Hi all,
I remember seeing that someone rolled their blackout cluster forward using a PC fan's RPM cable and a couple of power supplies... has anyone else done this? I cant find the thread anywhere if someone knows where it is.
Gauge shops charge large amounts to do this, so I am looking for a cheaper workaround... going from ~110k to ~139k...
Any suggestions appreciated. The cluster is digital.

That would be user "magna_vrx_turbo" (http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/member.php?u=21642) - the master of electronics and turning a boring TF magna to a KF verada with all the trimmings even getting his P plates. Very helpful kid too.

Can anyone point me in the right direction of what pins are what? Or, does anyone know the whereabouts of the correct wiring diagram in the workshop manual? It would do my head in trying to find the correct pins. Even a guide as to which plug (out of the three) to use would help.

I Found the diagram under 54C CIRCUIT DIAGRAMS - 01M/Y SPECIFICATION UPGRADE (effective from mid March 2002 production)
After that its in meter

Cheers valitank. They came in ultra handy. I got the unit to power up, and I managed to go through the functions to get it to the ODO, but for the life of me I cant get the speedo to run... I have tried multiple fans (RPM wire) to no avail. Any suggestions? It may be hard considering you guys cant see what im looking at. Yay.

i havn't done a 5 speed cluster yet there might be other info stored on the chip so i would need your cluster for a few days to decode but i'm happy to do it.
I'm happy to post it to you before I head down that way you can get it decoded it's a manual series 2 cluster if that makes a difference
