HOD globes (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/HOD-XENON-H4-60W-5500K-WHITE-LIGHT-BULBS-GLOBES-FALCON-/130579029760?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1e671ddf00#ht_2040wt_1270)
Anyone using these? they are not HID but are Xenon Gas charged so they give off better light.

Would these be better in a TL TW rather than HID's

Any thoughts

I DONT HAVE ANY DEALINGS WITH THIS EBAY SELLER AT ALL JUST AFTER INFORMATION ON THE GLOBES.

Having worked in auto spare parts for some years in a previous life, Autotechnica stuff is reasonably good. They are worth a try i think. Let me know how you go as i am also interested.

Please do. Can you post up some before/after pics of the beam pattern (how it looks up against a solid blank surface (rollerdoor, for example), before/after of the beam on the road etc and a before and after of the headlights themselves?

Maybe the first and third one do with one old globe on one side and the new one on the other.

really interested in this.

Same!

I remember hearing that they are just cheap chinese globes. The way they get decent light output is to bump the wattage up. I think the are 100w globes rather than 55w.

Could possibly melt the cars wiring if it hasnt been upgraded.

did a bit more research on the holden forums who have been running them and they leave a burnt mark on the plastic lenses, but the TL TW and 380 have bigger reflectors and sit further back
