Yay. :(

This morning I pulled down my passenger window and... well, it didn't come back up.

It gets about half way and slows down quickly then just stops. It looks like it gets stuck slightly on the front end of it. I've tried to nudge it free, but no luck.

I'm guessing the regulator or whatever it's called is gone. :(

Are there any easy ways just to get the window back up so I can still drive? And how much is a new regulator these days?

Poo.

Is it electric? Try the self serve wrecker. The Jolly Roger in Dandenong list electric for $41 and manual for $27. Pick-a-part and others will most likely be cheaper but don't seem to have as many 3rd gen cars in stock.

As for getting it back up try pulling the door trim off and seeing what is stopping it. Could be a broken plastic clip.

Yeah take the door trim off and have a looksy. This happened to my drivers window and I could see that the cable had frayed. Took it to Mal and had a new one put in for about 150 I think, it can be a crappy job, the whole window had to come out. You should also rub lithium grease on it

You might be able to pull on the broken slightly while pushing the up button the power window control panel. It might just be enough to the window up.

Took the door trim off and had a look, turns out that - yep - the mirror wiring isn't in place and had folded over the wrong side of the window. Looks like I don't need a regulator. :)

Where am I supposed to put the cable though? Where is it supposed to go?

It is meant to be in the mirror base. It folds up in there.
