I have just replaced the front (and rear) brakes on my wife's TF sedan. They had plenty of meat left in them (about 4 mm rear and 5 mm front), but I already had the pads and decided it probably was a good time to do it (it has 245000 km on the original pads).

PROBLEM: I found a H shaped shim in the front L caliper. No idea as to where it came from or where it should go. It looks like a wave spring, and it has mini lugs on the end of each arm, but I can see nowhere that those lugs could hook into. Any clues?
