Hey people,
Just a quick and simple fact check, how many different types of side skirt were available on L/W series third gens? Both Veradas and Magnas. I'd like to upgrade my KJ side skirts to something a bit more modern looking, need to know what to ask wreckers for.
Cheers!

Ah yep, cheers.
So we have the flush and bulbous VR-X one, the regular straight one, any others?
VR-X would be tough for me to find unfortunately. I reckon anyway.

Nup. Just the 2.
Also, you will need to grab the Verada VRX lower door parts, as J and under have holes in the doors for the J and under series plakky trims. L & W do not. So you have to cover them up. 3M make a roll of good tar like tape for this, but even the factory stuff peels away after a while.

Just on the subject of this, I saw a TE/F a few weeks ago with the below side skirts and front lip. I was wondering what models these would've come on as I'd like those side skirts rather than the stock ones

I reckon I know what you mean. So most likely unless these are available new from Mitsi, they'd have to come off the wreck or wherever the skirts get sourced, are they difficult to remove?

No, you just carefully peel them off. They will need painting and you will need to get some bloody good tape.
I would hate to think what Mitsu would charge new for them, considering the KL Chrome stripe (just the little one on the front fender under the light is $185 unpainted)

There are 2 different ones
The VRX had the skirts as well as little filler stips at the bottom of the doors (which you would need to cover the holes from your existing trims)
Other models in the L and W series had one sort of skirt only difference being the Verada had the lower door fillers (ES and LS Magna did not) and the little filler at the bottom of the front guard differed depending of the door fillers were there or not
The KL/W also had the chrome on the trim that went along the doors about 1/3rd the way up
All of these items I have in stock BTW :)
