Hi, I am trying to install an amp in my 2003 TL Magna and I need to run a 4 gauge power through the firewall however I cannot find any holes or gromments on the passengers side. Can someone please tell me where I can find a suitable gromment. Pictures would be awesome.
If you don't have a sunroof, pull back the wheel liner on the passenger side and you'll see an empty grommit, pull out the grommit hollow out the middle and use it to feed your power wire. If you do have a sunroof this will be used as a drain wire and your best bet is to drill out a new hole, clean it up, and install a new grommit - the only access areas are ABS loom and engine loom, cutting these unfortunantly can cause water leaks.

Thanks unfortunately I have the sunroof, so I guess it's time to break out the drill

Please for the love of god do not drill your fire wall, is dangerous and illegal
There are many options. You can feed this in through the same grommit if you are creative by getting a new grommit and then offset the sunroof drain and the power cable together. Some also use the engine loom to feed in, use some sikaflex if you must do this but remember your ABS on the tl goes here as well so may interfere
Other option, little harder to get to, is there is an oval grommet where the front loom goes through, there is heaps of space here to also put the amp cable through, is near the sunroof drain
Only place to safely drill is where the clutch pedal would usually go if was a manual, make sure you do use a grommit there however to stop the cable rubbing on the metal and shorting

Heres an easy one, take the front left hand wheel off, remove the mud guards there is a grommet behind the left strut tower, that will end up in the wheel well then you need to feed it through the wheel well and into the cabin via another grommet visible with the guards off.

Hi i have just installed a stereo into my 2003 tl vrx and if you look under the bonnet on the passenger side you will see a gromet which comes into behind the left kick pannel you should be able to pop it out and run your wire through this hole as i fit 4 gauge wire also
