If I was to change my 3.0 TE computer to a TH 3.5 computer keep in mind i already have the 3.5 motor in can i just change the computer or would i need to change the loom as well ?

does the ecu talk to any other components that would need changing ?

No, your Trans will be undriveable if using the TE trans

Why would this be the case? I'm using a TE trans in a TF, and all is good, not doubting, just curious?

Must not be a te trans mate, the te may have had a tf trans put in at some stage. The te uses a different control and will not engage 1st gear unless you shift back to 1st with selector. In short you can use any trans in a te bit you can only use a te trans in a te if that makes sense

so can i put the TH trans in the TE ?
