Hey guys,

So I've just acquired my stock air filter to replace my pod filter for an RWC, and would like to know if anyone here knows of a good shop to visit in Melbourne; I currently reside in Brunswick. Also, could someone inform me of the approx. cost of an RWC? I also need to know how to take off the tint on my windows, because I believe they're too dark to be considered legal. I'd be willing to pay to get the tint removed, if it was affordable, however I'm unsure of how much it'd cost me.

Thanks in advance guys,

Mike

RWC from memory is about $170 I think depending on where you go.

The gas place in Albion St between Sydney Rd and the railway line use to specialise in Magna's and I think they still have a RW license. Why not leave the tint on and see if it gets picked up, if it doesn't great if not then get it removed.

Thanks all for the replies, the might car mod vid was especially useful. Prowler, this place seems good as they're literally 1 minute away from me =D. Only thing I need to ask is if they're very strict on things? I can understand if they don't allow the tint, but I don't wanna be scammed for minor things etc. I'm a UNI student after all, so I'm already on a tight budget as it is. There wouldn't be discounts for concession card holders would there?

Best thing to do is ask if they will do an "unofficial" check so you get more than the 7 days an official check gives you.
