I have the choice to go a pioneer 9350 i think it is... the $2000 deck last year fo $1000...i have $338 store credit too at this shop

or from another shop the alphine 9835 i think it is... for $800

or a naka from the same shop as the alphine for $650 although its base model naka

what would be the best sound quality cd player to use and have the best features

The pioneer has a 13 band peq
the alphine has a 7 band
and the naka a 5 band i think it is

the pioneer is 6.5volt rca
alphine 4
and naka 4 i think

now comes a problem... i have a v12 alphine amp and the input voltage is 4volt
would the pioneer high voltage output damage the amp? or would u get voltage noise through the speaker?

i have been told i can use a variable reducer or use the speaker wires from the deck into the amp

the pioneer uses a burr brown and so does the naka not sure about the alphine...

given the choice and money i would go the clarion hx2 or whatever it is as the sampling is 96khz

the 3 decks above are only 44 i htink it is....

so what would everyone else go for? i am thinking the pioneer as it has the higher voltage and 13band eq but unsure what to go for...
what would u's do?
and can please provide reasons why as well... not just alphine cos they rock... or anything like that

In your situation I would choose the Pioneer deck as you would more that likely keep/use the deck for a longer period of time. So, if your amp dies, then you can replace it with an amp capable of 6V input - if you bought the Alpine or Naka, then I am sure down the track you would have wished you had 6V output.

Apart from that, Pioneer and Naka both make a good quality deck, but I would still choose the Pioneer for features and ease of use.

So, in conclusion, I would choose the Pioneer - "cos they rock" lol (Sorry - I had too)

Personally i would stay away from Alpine head units, too dear and have a sound of their own. Whilst Pioneer is good it is not as good as it used to be but i doubt you wouldn't be happy. If it were me (depends where your buying the gear from) i would go Eclipse, JVC, Panasonic and Clarion.

As for the 6V out i wouldn't be all that concernedwith this aspect. Just find a good deck with around 5V pre-outs, Subwoofer output (for expansion), LPF and HPF and the rest should be chalk and cheese.

Take a peek as some of the new Panasonic decks.. you'll be surprised.....

Oh, upgrade that V12 when $$$ permits.. A lot of buck for little bang!
