Neo oils are used a lot in motorsport and my mechanic swears bu the stuff for constant high rpm racing. Do some research to see if its suitable for the 74/75

So many brands to choose from. Picking a weight of oil and brand will be hard. Can u use race oils in normal driving conditions?

Shouldn't. Choosing between the best it doesn't matter you don't have a race car.

Just do what Mal says in every other oil thread. Stick with 10W30 unless your temps are going above normal use.. I use 10W50 Penrite as the supercharger/my driving style when using the supercharger tend to mean a slightly warmer engine than normal.

I've used Motul for the last 4 or 5 years in all of my cars..

They've done me proud.

Really when you are paying around 100 for 5l, which few people mentioned above like Motul, Redline, Royal Purple all will do good job, i personally used Royal purple for over 300,000ks in my old engine, used to drive it pretty hard, never had a hint of smoke & with 280,000ks on the clock still put out 165 at the wheels with the supercharger on, engine blew on the dyno due to error in timing map (basically run stock spark on supercharged setup), smashed 2 pistons to pieces.

Penrite syn 5

If they still make it..

It's now called Penrite 10 Tenths Premium 5, there is also Penrite HPR 5 which is now fully synthetic too.

Penrite recommend HPR 10, 10 Tenths Racing 10, or 10 Tenths Racing 15 for the 380.

You can of course use the Premium 10 (10W-70) instead of the HPR 10 (10W-50).

If you see the HPR (0, 5, 10, or 15) that says semi-synthetic, it's old stock. They're now fully synthetic too. The Premium 0, 5, 10 range is just a higher spec synthetic.

The old one was 5-60 and felt the same as a 10-40
