Anyone know anything about factory- fitted Verada central locking?
When unlocking either front door from the outside with the key, my wagon locks/unlocks rapidly for about 20 seconds and stops. Then may unlock OK, or repeats the fault. Being either front door I assume the fault is in some central unit, not in either door unit?????
Is there a locking "brain" and if so where is it located? Local wreckers has a KS sedan in so may be able to source parts as required (soon, before it goes to the crusher), or I have a driver's door unit in my spares box.

Thanks, Dave.

Wow, is that where they put it on the Rada? Its a little relay near the drivers side fuse box on my TS magna, although that doesn't have remote locking.

Got the relay in the footwell (MB685019) and the behind-radio module (MB686881) from local wreckers.
Changed the footwell unit - is described as a "central locking relay" (google)- and PROBLEM SOLVED.
Behind-radio module googles as the cruise control module (handy to have a spare one anyway).
Thanks for the advice guys.

damn, i had mine checked when it was doing it by two auto-electricians and they couldn't diagnose it so i put a full aftermarket system in the car......disappointed as i wanted to keep it original and didn't realise it was that easy to fix.
