When I changed my headlights to para's I kept my magna indicators however I found that in my view the indicators stuck out like dog's balls, though the verada headlights and magna indicators has bveen done many times before, In my view the two do not work together as well as they could.
After the use of a can of "Nite Shades" (didn't use the whole can), I believe the lights look much better

I actually thought the same when I first saw your pic. They didnt blend together well at all but this is a good cure! Does the orange still come through well?

during the day, I think I have lost about 10% light, at night you'd never know

hmm i'm not sold purely due to the tinting - i went through my phase of it for sure! pull the orange bulb covers out of the indicators (i've done it in my 3rd gen - messy and slow work but do it properly and it looks sick.

I was considering that option as well... though I was thinking the fluted lens against the clear headlight lens would still look a bit out of place as they dont blend together. Seperating the lens is fairly easy boof, though I guess at the end of it all... its about personal taste!

Is it legal though as they are a signalling light as well as warning instrument?? Vee

I was wondering that as well. One of my pet hates is not seeing other cars' indicator on roundabouts during the day.

The question of Legality, is a grey area.
Yes tinted lights are illegal.
However, this was due to people tinting their tail lights too dark and their brake lights appearing as dark as their parkers.
I have not tinted my tails, and my indicators can still be seen!

yeah you are right in the end you are playing the dice with insurance companies. I have my car lowered etc so i am playing the game too but tinting is almost a big flag when you are in an accident - even if someone didn't give way they may still pin it on you. MAY.

I really don't like the stock indicator look. But rather than tinting, i changed the bulbs. In many auto stores, you can get indicator bulbs that look clear. When there on they go orange.

I just removed the small orange lens in the indicators, and changed the bulbs (on an elite. executives may be different). They look great, being all clear against a white car.
