is removing the balance shaft worth doing of your making a mild hot engine and does it affect at all the power or performance as opposed to having then in? thank you

i read the thread, is it worth doing it, will it affect my performance as opposed to not doin it i know it reduces abit of weight but isnt it meant to be there for a reason
