How much does one of these costs? seen it been thrown around on the forum a bit and really have 0 intention atm of doing one, but was just incredibly curious as to how much one costs?

Sounds like a bit of work, so im guessing it would cost a bit of cashola?

Hey mate,

If your thinking drive in - drive away, this is who you will probably want to ask http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/member.php?u=18
Sounds like he has done many, and will be able to give you a good idea on price.

If you want to attempt it yourself, and cheaply, you would probably want a donor car. I got very lucky and came across one for $500 and have already had an offer for $250 for the motor (want $350). You will need a few buddies (even if they do drive commodores) and a few days. One of you will need decent previous mechanical experience.

If you ever get to that point let me know and I will forward on all the info I have re TJ conversion. If your good at searching, and patient, all the conversion info is on this site.

That's actually cheaper than I thought! And by mal as well so you know it will be quality...Will keep that in mind for a bit further down the track

Remember that is based on using what ever clutch came out of the wreck the manual conversion came out of, if you want a new clutch which is recommended that does add to the cost
