hi ive lost my immoboliser and cant start the car without it and sugestions as to de-activating it?:hmm:

i lost my keys and immoboliser keypad :yeahthat: im getting new keys cut but i wont be able to start it without the key pad to disarm it

You dont need the key pad to disarm it, Need the chip thats inside the key. Mitsi's can reprogram them though

i bought the car with an aftermarket immoboliser on it so im kinda stuffed mitshi cant help by the way its a ts

not to worry i found my keys its all good but i dont want my immoboliser anymore because ive only got one pad if it breaks im stuffed might get it pulled out

Yeah, more information from the start would have been good :P
If yours is a carby magna, I'm assuming the immobiliser cant be too complex to get around with enough time

Aftermarket immobilisers are a pain! Trace the wires back and see how it is patched into the car's wiring and redo the joints.
Depending on the age of your second gen, the key will be a plain, chipless key that any locksmith can duplicate. ie no immobiliser is fitted as standard.
Some late TSs were fitted with a cutout device on the ignition barrel, pull the ignition lock out and the car won't go - ever again. Replacement parts not available. So if your ignition barrel gets stiff, don't be tempted to take it out to lubricate it, like I did. lol
