Hi folks,

Rather than solve the issues I have in this thread

http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/showthread.php?t=96899

I was thinking of doing a Weber Carby conversion. I dont give a rats about power, I just it to stop guzzling fuel and be reliable and smooth.

There are a lot of Kits available on Ebay and the net for a kits for $500-$600

They say they are already jetted for the given car.

Has anyone had any experiences with these kits? Can I just bolt it up and it will work? (Its the solution I am after)

Thanks
Rob

. . . Weber Carby conversion . . . to stop guzzling fuel and be reliable and smooth.

In for some disappointment there if that is what you are after. lol
The original carburettor - in good condition - is much more sophisticated than a Weber.

try a carburettor to EFI conversion. A bit more work, but cheaper and will give you what you are after.
