After i saw the thread on how to put lights in the boot garnish, i was fascinated. I knew i needed to do it to my magna. But i wasnt satisfied with it. I wanted to do more with my tail lights. I needed to get the whole middle part lit up as well.

This is how it turned out. I put LED's behind each letter of the Mitsubishi logo:

All i had to do was drill holes behind the letters, and put the LED's in.
I used 470 ohm resistors, but wired it wrong. One 470 ohm resistor is needed in series with 2 LED's. I used a 470 ohm per LED. This is the correct way:

It needs to be insulated well. Bare wires could short out with the metal on the boot. Im setting a bad example with masking tape.

Thats all there is to it.

This is kinda funny, i realised my left tail light was out, only by looking back at these photos

You just need to wire up the boot section light panel as well. Back when I had my KS, I had it set up with 3 pairs of tail lights and 3 pairs plus high-mount brake lights.

The boot garnish lights really give magnas a great look at night. That picture wasnt very good because it was daylight and one of my boot lights blew. Its supposed to look like this
