Hey All,
Installed Newer Deck and a Sub Woofer Setup in my wifes TF on Sunday
Today she called me because her car wasn't driving the same.
She said occasionally she would put her foot down, and there was no power, compared to before.
Her description suggested it seemed as thou the trans wasnt changing gears properly, or that the engine was not performing the same as she had known was Normal.

My inital reaction, was to ask her to try driving the car without the sound system on.
The sound system was turned off and fuel was put in the car.
(Mind you she was below 1/4 tank of fuel for the 1st time since we bought the car.)
The problem seems to have stopped for now.

Could it be a Voltage Loss??? causing problems? Dirty Fuel?

I also suggested she drive it a little harder, as i quite like driving it, and have a more aggressive driving style, and notice I have less faults/problems.

Check MistahJT's thread started yesterday. If you disconnected your battery, you've reset your TCM and ECU. That thread shows a link to the re-learn procedure. That will most likely be your problem.

Or a voltage drop/dodgy battery, as per the suggestions on your other thread.

yeah the problems may be related, but had thought that the Speed Alert was not as important, and might have been something i did wrong.
but the lack of performance, could result in a reliability issue. not cool. my wife uses the magna to get to work.

Has certainly happened to me before. Disconnected the battery, reconnected it, turned out into a busy intersection, put the foot down... and nothing really happens. It's only an issue if it doesn't go away.

It's not the reverse lights fuse blown? check in drivers foot well? Its the Light symbol with the R in it. Might sound crazy, but when I swapped my tail lights to TH, I shorted the reverse circuit by mistake, without realising. Went to move the car and would rev, but was extremely sluggish.
