I'll probably never do this, but what would be involved in putting a 4G63 Non turbo, EFI DOHC into a TR/TS?

Would it give better economy that the old 2.6?

Also the car would be staying automatic, I assume there would be alot of wiring involved, but is it even possible? (Car in question also has cruise)

It would be nice to have something other than an astron to look at when I pop the bonnet :happy:

I think you would struggle too find a decent 4G63 N/A.

As with most engine conversions, its just easier too do a complete loom swap with ECU and the like

4g63 turbo have been put in plenty first gen and as the same 4g54 is in both 1st and second gen should be no problem the difference between turbo and non turbo is not a problem the base block is the same for mounting. Vee
