These would have to be the same as in our ozzy cars wouldn't they?

Also been reading where you can put the Mitsi Canter 4g54 oil pump in them and do away with all the extra balance shaft garbage. ANyone know if the pump has the later ratchet adjuster of the Tr Ts to keep the chain tight so you don't get the rattle until oil pressure is up??

The balance shaft behind the oil pump when removed does it have to be plugged for oil pressure as i assume the kit you buy has a plug for the upper shaft? Vee

that timing chain kit looks the same

the balance shaft elimination is the kit with new TP oil pump
you fit round part in the top flush with the block on the upper shaft
the smaller shaft has to be fitted with cog and nut for the oil pump to work
off the crank by chain

this kit replaces both balance shafts

Great thanks for the pic i understand now how it works better.
I will be best to source a later TP or Tr Ts oil pump as mine is the early one (Tp) without the ratchet tensioner and do a full upgrade of the lot!! My oil pressure is taking longer to get up and turn the light out i have noticed recently at least 15 seconds. Only 163k on the clock!! Vee

Sounds unusual is it maybe something to do with the tensioner for the balance shafts and had to be reshaped? Vee

the tensioner sits lower on the block that why you need a tr timing cover with the tr pump.

So if i get a TR/Ts pump and cover it all mounts up the same to the Tp block then? Vee

The actual tensioner plunger is it different with the later models because of the ratchet setup do you know for the cam chain?
What sort miles have your oil pumps done do you know? Might pay to buy a new one do you think? Vee

Found someone wrecking a TS. What would be a fair price to pay for a cyl head, oil pump and timing cover?
is it worthwhile getting the whole injection and swapping to get a few more Kw? Cheers Vee
