still getting this weird issue occasionaly although i dont notice any problems with the car itself randomly the traction controll will disable and cant be enabled then shortly after the engine light comes on. any ideas on what needs to be replaced? i remember someone mentioning a solanoid?

Has been covered so many times, is the TCL system that is the issue, you need to do a scan but usually is the solonoid pack on the fire wall

thanks mal. does it matter if i have it scanned when its not on? it comes and goes, if it is the solonoids whats an estimated repair cost?

This just happened to me today, I had this issue about 8 months ago and had the startr motor solenoid replaced, and it appeared to be fixed. I'm confused? Could it be the solenoid has failed again ? Or could it be another problem ?

Has absurdly nothing to do with starter motor that was just coincedence

As stated more times than I care to think of you need to scan to properly diagnose

Oh okay, the mechanic at the time says he did scan it, goes to show his knowledge :s looks like ill be seeing you sooner then planned mal :P
