TS 1995, There's water leaking just from the left of the harmonic balancer, I can't find a good photo of the front the engine to find out what part it is, hopefully it isn't the water pump, i don't want to take it off.

Unfortunately Waterpump is probably most likely cause.
Off hand cannot remember if there are any welch plugs in that area.
Might be just the waterpump gasket but if it has done a few miles best to replace pump and do the cambelt etc at the same time if it is close to needing doing.
Only other possibility is the thermostat housing leaking and it is running down so check all that area first off. vee

I thought the thermostat housing was on the other side.
Is there a diagram of the cooling system? or a good picture of the entire engine.

Oops sorry my bad...Yeah other end thermostat was thinking of another motor.
There is a pipe that runs from the back of the waterpump there is an "O" ring there that may be the culprit also. Vee

Just out of interest, does anyone know if the pipe that runs out the back of the water pump along the valley are available new anywhere ??
The one on my wife's car is stuffed where the radiator host clamps and I don't relish the idea of trying to weld up the holes .....
Also, there are no welsh plugs at the front of the engine, there is a threaded plug but it looks pretty substantial, so unlikely to corrode out.

Now that has to be a joke doesn't it.....
They want $180 for that part.
I think I'll be firing up the welder.
