Hi , I have a 98 TF .
Trying to fit a switch onto the fuel pump for antitheft..
On the harness under the seat there are 5 wires going into it , I assumed the red and tried but it made no diff.
Anyone have any clues.. Don't want to cut and rejoin anymore to find out..
Cheers

Fuel pump relay is under the console near the cupholders. No need to travel to the seat.

You can find the coil wires (usually black/white stripe) to put your switch it.

Thanks Mike, That would've been better, but I've already routed the wires under the carpet, drilled holes etc and and all the rest of the drama....
So might as well just go the pump way , just have to know which wire to go for...

Wierd thing is that red wire runs 12 volts with key on and yet when I cut it the car still ran ( ran it for 3-4 minutes) no stalling.

Black and Blue wire is the one for switching.
