Recently I had my suspension lowered and to do this my mechanic had to remove the rear seat / parcel shelf(apparently). Since then I have very poor (almost non existent) radio reception so I reckon the antenna cable has been disconnected somewhere. I have checked the connection on the side of the antenna and all is ok.
I would like to be able to isolate an area of the car to pull apart rather than remove the whole interior for such a small problem. Does the cable have a joiner somewhere in the middle of the car as I doubt that it has come off the back of the head unit? Also, where does the cable go (along which side of the car) once it enters behind the rear seat? Any other ideas would be great!!
Cheers

Same thing happened to me. The antenna cable runs under the rear shelf on the passenger side near the edge. Then down behind the rear passenger seat. Mine was damaged under the rear shelf as they reach under it with their tools while removing the rear shocks. I was able to repair the cable luckily. Not a huge job. I don't think there is any joiner.

Cheers and happy soldering!
