Hey guys!
I got my car back from the mechanics and he mentioned my break lights are out so the moment I got back I checked them out...the bulbs were fine and the cables were all connected well and there were no blown fuses...anyone have any clues as to what it might be?.

Okay...so I followed the brake pedal up to the plug assembly under the dash and it seems it was unplugged...how odd...

Did you change to fuse,or just check it....they can "look" okay ,but not be.

Are the tail lights working ?

Brake light fuse is in the internal fuse box, best to check to see if you are getting power at the sockets at the back, use a test light on both sides of the fuse or a multimeter but dont break it (sorry could not resist)

Ok update: so the tail lights work, the led break lights in my spoiler work...but nothing else apparently.

Replace both tail/brake globes with new ones.

Replace both tail/brake globes with new ones.

Start with the simple stuff. Wedge something long like a wheel brace between the seat and brake pedal to keep it on, remove tail brake light globes and probe the socket each side with a multimeter. If 12V, put new globes in - if no volts, probe fuse in fuse box, brake pedal switch.

Lot of people drive around with just one brake light working, only worry about it when the other goes too. Strange.
Local shops have nice windows, I park in a spot with the back of the car towards the glass and check brake lights, reversing lights, indicators. Quick and easy. (Almost as easy as typing "brake" instead of "break". lol)

Not sure if its related to your particular problem, but it stopped my Tails from working...

The glass wedge type stop/tail globes that find just about everywhere, have little tags from being formed, its like a small glass nipple inbetween the the four contact wires, this pertruding piece of glass prevent the globe from being inserted properly, we snipped it off with some wire cutters, and the globe slid in with a reassuring click, as it sank home....

Remove the nipple of glass and she sat properly in place...

Well if the LED lights work the fuse, switch is fine, it is either a globe issue or a wiring issue in the back of the car, change the globes, if no good follow the harness down the rhs, there is a plug on the boot floor that may have come unplugged or been damaged
