Hey guys! I've never really looked into car audio systems before so this is something new.
I have a 2001 TJ VR-X that currently has a Kenwood KDC-MP443U head unit (http://au.kenwood.com/Car_Entertainment/Previous_Models/KDC-MP443U)
Im looking at getting a sub sometime in the not soo distant future. I really like my speakers atm; they do have good bass but im interested in getting a sub for the hell of it lol
For the Sub + Amp i don't wanna pay more than $300, what do you guys recommend? I prefer clean bass rather than thumping if that helps. Any idea how this Cadence is? http://www.jbhifi.com.au/car-sound-gps-navigation/sub-woofers/cadence/600-watt-sub-amp-combo-sku-52575/
Also, i'll try find a mate to install it but how much does it usually cost to get it setup in professionally?

..GONE..

I'd look at a JL sub and a simple response amplifier.

You may be able to get away with spending around $300 for that set up.

+1 for the jl and response combo, might end up being out of your price range though. for $300 id recommend buying some better branded second hand stuff rather than new rubbish.

hopefully you'll be able to get a nice second hand jl sub because they are very good
