My right side mirror rattles, drives me nuts cause I love to drive with my windows down, no fix I can find yet.
Then the rear view mirror tends to rattle, especially with subwoofers. Also with subwoofers, the sunroof trim rattles sometimes, mine's actually shook itself broken. :P
Then the cup holder in the dash, and if the screws behind your dash are loose, those rattle. Behind my dash is actually pretty broken, so I need to glue it or something (almost none of these cars where I am).
Try getting some of those make-up wedge things and shove it behind the seal, that way you can figure if your seal needs to be replaced, maybe shrank over the years?

Are you getting a whistling sound from your drivers side mirror? thats a common problem, its the seam on the mirror that causes it, I just put some sticky tape on the seam and it stopped it, when driving run your finger over the seam and you will notice it almost stops, I use to think it was drivers window but found out it was the mirror. If your car has a sun roof the parcel shelf rattle maybe coming from the motor for the sun roof, or something to do with the sun roof as when I open the sun roof on my car the rattle stopped, closed it and it started again. I was so disappointed with my KH Verada as it had heaps more rattles and annoying sounds then my old KR ever had. The dash rattles in my car I fixed most of them by pulling all the trim panels off the consul and the trim panel around the stereo and ash tray etc. You will see it has a black felt stuck to the edges to stop the plastic surfaces from touching each other, some of these may have come away, they sell the black self adhesive felt at spotlight, so I just cut the new felt to right lengths and widths and replaced the old or missing felt with and and put it all back together and was a big improvement. I feel the 3rd gen Magna's are not the best quality, not as good as the second gen's, but thats just the experience I have had. Hope this was some help, cheers

If you find good seals off the older models, they have a double seal

After looking at it, the door seals were just not seated properly. and pushing foam under the parcel shelf at the rear fixed the rattles.
Wasnt coming from the front at all!!
WIN! :)
Excellent, glad you were able to find and fix the problems so easy, my KH still has air leaks coming from the L/H doors, it seems to come and go, I will give the door seals a good going over.

That's not good, and yours is a TL, TW? Poor build quality shows Mitsubishi was going broke at this time, looks like the problems my car has is wide spread, so no point in selling it and buy a newer model then
