I now have a KH XI that I bought for mother, and the leather is absolutely stuffed, I have a KH velour interior, but can I transfer the bases over to retain the Power Drivers seat?
Also it may sound stupid but if one was to remove the whole interior leaving just the wiring, Would there be any harm in using a pressure washer inside to clean the floor (there is a weird substance that has leaked down the console onto the floor). I will obviously be covering up any electrical plugs and doing this on a warm day so it can dry out.....

Power seat bases are different to manual ones. So is the cushion foam.

Pretty much. The bases are held down by the plastic tubes that clip over metal bars on the seat base. Also, the actual foam design is different between manual and power seats. So it wouldn't be possible to put a non-power cushion on a power seat base as it wouldn't clip down for one, and because the side of the cushion is different to accommodate the power seat switch, it wouldn't fit either.
New leather time? :P

What's so great about power seats? They take much longer to adjust than normal seats.
If it wasn't for the big old tasman sea getting in the way I'd swap my power velour seat for your standard one :P
