First up, car is a 1998 KF 3.5L Verada XI, auto, 170,000km...

Gas systems:
Ive got a standard aspirated gas setup which also uses the oxy-sensor for the system. I've recently replaced the oxy-sensor however gas eco hasn't really improved where standard fuel has improved a fair bit. I mainly run on gas and notice sot at the back... What's the best way to adjust/tune the gas system?

Gearbox:
I've had this car for 10,000km and ever since I've had it, the gearbox acts a little strange (though I've never owned a magna before.) I have also done a flush and new filter (those filters are awesome to replace! lol) There is some gear flaring at times when changing gears and also, when placed in reverse, the car as 'thud' in to gear rather hard.
The gearbox does look to have been replaced at some point. There is perma marker on the top of the gearbox (when you remove all that centre stuff) that says "TW". Is this kinda normal behaviour? In the 10,000km i've own it, it hasn't got better or worse. Flushing the fluid didn't do much to the running of it and the fluid is still very clear and nicely coloured.

A/C Compressor:
It seems to be making a fair amount of noise. Are these common to fail? It squeaks a tiny bit even when not engaged, however it's rather bad when it is. Silicon spray doesnt help and listening though some pipe really does indicate it's the compressor itself.

ECU resetting:
Do you have to disconnect for 30 minutes? :) I only did it for about 10 seconds after the new oxy-sensor.

30 minutes shouldn't be necessary - 20-30 seconds should achieve all that is required. 10 seconds might increase the risk of only a partial erasure of the ECU's RAM, but almost certainly has done the job.

Oh yeah.. Another thing... When using petrol and the engine is dead cold, putting the accelerator down does little, struggles, then takes off.. This corrects itself once warm.
