Hi
I have a 2000 tj magna executive
I was thinking of buying tj vrx interior (front 2 seats, back seats, and all 4 doors)
Cos my executive doesn't have power windows, if i put on these vrx doors will the power windows on the vrx doors work??
Thanks!

The door trim colours are different to your Executive, if I recall correctly.
You could just swap over the door trim inserts (the coloured bits around the door handle) from the VR-X doors to your Exec doors.

In addition to the door trim colour, the carpet is black in the VRXs whereas the Execs are light grey. Depends on how much you want the rest of the interior to match.

Well there will be the front 2 seats and rear seats. Plus ill be getting the 4 doors off the vrx. So it will be alot easier to just take off my exec doors and install the vrx ones :) ai could get carpet changed to black for $400 (did that in my Lancer) but is not a need for now.

If you don't have power windows, you can't simply swap door cards and expect them to work. There would be no plug there.

Like Red said easiest way is just to change the inserts over its just a few screws on each trim.

What I meant is that the VR-X doors have a black plastic upper, and a dark grey plastic lower. The Executive has, if I recall correctly, a dark grey upper, and a light grey lower. So the plastics between the doors and the dash won't match up, which would look a bit ghetto.
If you just change over the inserts, your door plastics will still match the dash, your trim inserts will match the seats, and you won't have any dramas with power windows (it's a fair bit of work to convert to power windows). Seems like a no-brainer to me :)
The doors won't stick out too much if you swap over the inserts as suggested.
Here are my old crappy door trims with some different inserts with fake leather seat covers
Edit: that doesn't include black carpet either, which vastly improves the inside look of your car.

peeples read what the op said he is getting all 4 doors depends i know a TJ 1.5 has the looms already so its plug and play, i did it for m4ddog but i can't remember if it needed a relay it was like 5 years ago but yeah im pretty shore it should be plug and play as the looms should match up tj to tj. check all the wires in the plug in the door match up with those of the plug in the pillar and if there all there it will work.

Yes you'll need to chuck in a relay for it, the wiring should already be there in the dash loom so if you're getting the FULL doors (not just the trims) including wiring, should work OK.

I think you'll find he means the doortrims not the whole door.

Since you own a 2000 tj exec (like me) you will find the power windows will not work.
If you want them you will need:
- Lower dash harness to get the wiring for the front two windows
- floor harnesses if you want the rear power windows to work.
For the dash harness you will need to actually take the dash out. It will take at least a solid day, maybe even two.
There's some pictures in the thread in my signature, or a search on "dash loom change" will give you plenty of info.
It's a big-ish job, but also gives you the benefits of being able to install other goodies like climate control and blackout clusters (need upper dash loom too, which takes 20 minutes).
If you're not prepared to invest that much time into it I recommend go for the seats, maybe paint the door panels you have with vinyl dye. That's how I started, until I was ready for the dash loom swap.
