hi guys, im new to the forums, I have a 3.0L 97 TE Magna and just bought a mantra 2 1/2 "front and rear" sports exhaust for $500, and was just wondering if anyone has heard much about these? as in sound/performance.
ive done a search and couldn't find much, but a guy at work recons manta as a brand are one of the best out there.

As long as there's a free-flowing rear muffler, there'd be no noticeable performance differences in catback exhausts. The exhausts piping is not a restriction on Magnas.

manta is a perth company i think. alot of people use them on v8 commodores. a reputable member who owns an exhaust shop on Just Commodores reckons theyre good. personally i think they sound pretty good but its not hard to make a 5l sound good

bestmufflers.com.au who also have a shop here in sydney stock manta however only have the trton system for mitsubishi. and these guys are a good shop their custom work is always quite booked. they will also tackle any custom work including headers however there is a 4 month wait to get headers made atm. and you would need to boo atleast a week in advance for any custom work.

That would be great, id imagine there wouldn't be a great deal of difference between this and the other brands assuming the muffler config is the same and all the joins on this one are mandrel bent.

its installed and sounds great up until 5-6k rpm, after that seems to sound stock :S with a very noticeable increase in power, ill get a vid and put it up later tonight see what you guys think.
Next mod will be extractors, ive had a look at a few but wondering which in your opinion is best? and is ebay trustworthy with these type of things?
