Hi guys
The front passenger window is a bit slow, all others work great. Had a service done and mentioned to mechanic, he said I just need to use some dry lube on all the tracks and mechanisms i can get to.

Question is how do i remove the door skin.

thanks in advance.

There are 3 screws. 1 inside the door handle, 1 in the air vent (when you open the door, it is there near the hinges) and another in the door closing handle (whatever you call it). start pulling from the bottom and several clips will come loose. Then lift upwards for the door card to come off.

There will be a plastic sheet covering the window mechanisms, the rail behind that will be the one that needs greasing.

Always use Lithium Grease on these suckers, is what was used from the factory and will work the best

Be VERY careful when you apply it as the sides of those rails are damn sharp

Er, what kind of dry lube? Just regular stuff from any hardware place?

Head to an autoshop and ask for Lithium Grease. They should have it. Last I checked Supercheap Auto do sell it, otherwise I'm dead certain Autobarn, Repco or Bursons would have it....

Bunnings have it. Big tub for $10.

It comes in a spray pack as well which would make it easier to apply without stripping the door.

You will need to pull the door trims off to do properly. Front doors have three areas to lube up

Repco have the cans of motortech lithium grease for about $5.50, i use it on everything. Also, those thin plastic extension sprayers fit on the end of the nozzle, and make it so much easier to spray accurately in tight spots, perfect for the window mechanisms ;)
