How are we all.

These lights were designed by Jamie (MRSPL).

I'd like to share some snaps with the community, to get an idea what they're like.

These are some quick snap ups i got through my iPhone.

For some reason pictures don't really reflect how good these lights actually output.

Fitment: When installing these lights, I came across little issues. These lights needed abit of persuasion to get the headlight into place with the bolt hinges. Maybe because these lights came from a different model, or because the headlight was in the oven causing the plastic to alter how the headlight originally was. But in the end, the lights fit with ease.

To install these lights it required me to unclip the front bumper to have access to the front bolts that holds the headlights in.

Other than that the HID kit was fairly simple to install. An addition harness was also needed to be installed which is completely seperate to the HID kit. The harness is to power the projector itself (hi/low beam).

Only concern I have is the length of the projector harness. Having the harness on one end to draw power, and a cable that runs across the top of the radiator It might have issues later in the long run. But so far so good.

Jamie was extremely helpful during my experience with him. Even when I had issues understanding the whole harness business, he walked me through it over the phone.

After installing them and driving the car on the freeway, I had a bloke drive behind me with his Hi beams on :eeek:, but after speaking to Jamie, He went out of his way to walk me through adjusting the cutoff line with the Allen key on the headlight housing so that the 2 lines meet on the same level.

Overall, I am quite happy with the lights, These pics does not do justice, I will snap some more when i get the chance. And I highly recommend it for those who are wanted projector style headlights for the 380!

are they ADR approved for street use?

Thanks for taking the time to write a review Thien! Much appreciated :)

Mods it might be worth moving it to my forum review section?

TJ Sports. The headlights are perfectly fine ADR wise. The HIDs however are not. At least projectors can harness the light and project it where it needs it. Much better then HIDs in stock reflectors blinding everyone!

How much did the plastic change/alter? Any pics?

Also, trying to understand what you mean when you say the lights "needed a bit of persuasion" to fit but then say in the next breath "the lights fit with ease"....

Fog lights would look good with a similar colored globe also...

Confused Kif :/

What I meant by persuasion is;

To install a headlight, there are 3 bolts.
1) The most visible bolt; on the top of the headlight there is a hinge stemming from the headlight that hangs onto a square lump on the actual car, which is secured down with a bolt
2) From the front of the car near the grill, requires the bumper to be taken off/loosened to have access
3) Last bolt that is hidden inside the fender wall which is accessible by removing/loosening the bumper

What I meant by persuading is that bolt 1) required abit of pushing, to get the headlight stem onto the square lump on the car so that it can he secured down by a bolt.
Bolt 2) needed to be held in place in order to get the bolt in properly, or else it bolt would go in slanted therefore the whole bolt thread isnt used up.

As stated before, I'm not entirely sure whether its because the headlight was from a different model or whether it was due to altering the headlight inorder to put the projectors in, but in can conclude that the headlights are in properly with all bolts in glass. The headlights are secure with no condensation so far!

Having installed projector's from Jamie and indeed, just having to take the headlight in and out, what the OP is talking about is PERFECTLY NORMAL for a 380 headlight.

So just dont go thinking that baking the lights in the oven will in anyway distort or reshape it.Its just the way it is.

Yeah the 380 lights can take a bit to get in and out sometimes! Not so much the different headlights thats just how they are. Still have 2 spare sets here i believe if anyone would like any done for their car
