i know the 380 manual gearboxes are closer ratio than the 3rd gen, so i am lead to believe but are the diff ratio,s the same and what is required to fit one to a 3rd gen if it is manual already just looking for diffrent ratios for our racecar before purchasing parts
any info would be great guys thanks

The drive shafts are the same as the 5sp Auto boxes, you will need to get a 5sp auto intermediate shaft and modify it to fit as it is a little too long. The rear mount needs also to be modified to make it fit, only needs a plate welded with 1 bolt hole moved

I had one in my TE Wagon for quite some time, is a nice box in a Magna and with the Magna shifter gives a nice short shift feel without the crap feel these short shifters in many magna's have

As far as I know the main difference is in the final drive ratio.

The TW Magna manual final drive ratio is 3.736 to 1, the 380 manual final drive ratio is 4.111 to 1.

I'm guessing all manual 3rd gens are 3.736 except maybe the Ralliart.

Just out of curiosity, what rpm does the engine rev at around 100/110kph in 5th?
