They come as a complete hub unit, makes it easier to change, how ever are quite pricey.
I need to change my AWD rear bearings and for them, through Mitsi they are over $600 per corner and are imported from Japan. Roughly a six week wait.
Though I am considering trying the ones on eBay.

Jack the car up and check for play in the wheel. If there's any play then its bearing time.

Yeah I wont pay anywhere near that... I can get everything for cost price as my dads being going to the same parts suppliers for the businesses and stuff for over 50 years (with his dad aswell)

Im considering the ones on ebay but I will see how much I can get them from at the parts joint :)

Any ways to diagnose if thats what I need or?
Cheers!

mine has a whine and at low speeds with no noise, I can hear my LHR.
I'm gonna change both, preventative maintainance.
Might see if my old man can do something also.

You mean like in and out movement or just wheel movement in general?
Thanks :)

Yes, in and out play.

I do both the AWD as well as the FWD rear wheel bearings, the bearings them selves are the same brand as the OEM, the FWD comes as a complete hub with flange and studs, the AWD is simply a bearing and holder assy and you need to press your old hub into the set up.

Rear bearings especially on the FWD are easy to test, they will have play in them. The AWD ones are not as easy to diagnose and add to this the AWD ones are not as easy to replace either as the hand brake set up is a PITA lol (although much better set up than the FWD)
