Hi again, rear passenger window when you open the door and close it doesn't slip under the rubber. It sits on top allowing air to make a nice whistle. Only way I know how to fix it is to find the window down with door closed and backup up again.. Suggestions?

hey mate my drivers rear window does this and its due to the door being slammed and it bends the frame inside the door, the only way to fix it is to pull the window out and straighten the track that the window sits in.

The glass is out of adjustment. In the workshop manual there is procedure for setting the glass in the correct postion.

This has happened twice to my rear right passenger window. When you remove the door interior trim etc you can see two white nylon thingamajigs screwed to the bottom of the glass. When the glass goes up, these thingamajigs engage in some slots just before the window closes fully and pulls the glass in toward the seal. On my car these were cracked (front first time, back second time), allowing them to flex rather than pull the glass in.

You could probably get these from Mitsubishi for a small fortune?$?$?$? I was able to repair mine by reinforcing them with some rivets and aluminium sections, but it was a lot of dicking around.
