Hey i got a 98 TF V6 Magna Executive and just want to do some basic mods, its already lowered and got mags but i want to mod around the engine and what not, ive been looking and pre much seen in a few places the first thing i should do is remove the stock air filter box and put a K&N rampod in? need some suggestions?

No offence but I would re-evaluate where you get your information from, because that goes against the majority of the advice given here.

ohk, well i havnt really looked here just a couple other websites and dont really know what i should off with that isnt to expensive

Unfortunately, there's not much in the way of cheap and easy mods you can do for Magnas. A free flowing rear muffler is about the only thing I can think of.
The standard air intake on a Magna is already sufficient, so upgrading it will do nothing for power. Might give you a cool induction noise though :)

What you can do depends on your budget, simple is a free flowing exhaust, then you need to spend $$ be it in doign work to you exisiting motor, dropping a 3.5 or 3.8 in it, getting more power to the ground with a Manual and then the real $$ kick in with head work or forced induction.
3.0 is very revvy but not as much torque as the 3.5 or especially the 3.8.

On a 14 year old car, I'd focus on the basics to get it in good condition. Service records up to date, suspension, brakes, etc.
